Shipping Terms and Conditions
Please familiarize yourself with our shipping policies before you order. This will ensure that your order arrives safe and sound.
Our shipping rates are calculated by how much you spend per delivery address, and are listed below based on Ground Shipping via FedEx.
*When temperatures are above 68°, we also add $7.50 for cooling materials necessary to preserve the integrity of your chocolates.
Your order, placed Monday thru Thursday, will usually be processed within 1 business day, except during busy holiday seasons
(THANKSGIVING, CHRISTMAS, VALENTINE'S DAY, EASTER AND MOTHER'S DAY).
To upgrade to 2nd Day Air, please choose 2nd Day; this upgrade adds an additional $10 to the base shipping charge.
To upgrade to Next Day Air, please choose Next Day air; this upgrade adds an additional $25 to the base shipping charge.
For a Saturday delivery - orders placed on Friday for next-day delivery - please call our corporate office at 212-431-1768 before 12 on Friday.
Our New York shops can messenger your order for same day delivery if you call before 3pm.

Your chocolates' freshness is our top priority, so when we ship to destinations over 68º we will upgrade your shipping and charges
to overnight if you selected Ground or 2-day shipping. During the late spring and summer,
we will charge a $7.50 summer handling charge for insulated cooling materials.
We will not ship packages over the weekend; those orders will be held until the following Monday.
This is to avoid products being stored in a non-climate controlled shipping facility over the weekend.
No orders are processed on Friday unless arrangements are made by phoning the corporate office at 212-431-1768
and speaking with someone on the sales team. So, for example, if your package is shipping 2 Day Air, select only a Ship Date of Monday,
Tuesday or Wednesday. If your package is shipping Overnight, select a Ship Date of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
Please keep in mind that orders received after 3 pm will be considered placed the following day.
Signing for your Chocolates
Our packages are shipped with a Signature Release, which allows FedEx to leave package without a signature.
We have learned from experience that this policy works best for our clients - otherwise, if clients are not home or are unavailable when FedEx delivers,
their package will return to a potentially hot facility where their chocolate might melt.
If you require any other arrangement than Signature Release, please call the sales team at 212-431-1768 to see what - if anything - can be arranged.
Errors in Placing Your Order
The details of your name billing address, shipping address and mode of payment are critical.
We cannot be responsible for errors in information that is provided to us. Costs resulting from such errors will be charged to you,
and FedEx charges an additional $10 for return or redelivery of your package.
The accuracy of the shipping information you provide is crucial in making sure your delivery is prompt.
This ensures that our customers can enjoy our products for the full extent of their shelf life.
MarieBelle cannot be held responsible for returns caused by incomplete or erroneous delivery instructions.
As all of our products are sensitive to weather conditions, our customer service team may determine that
your order might not arrive in an ideal condition if we ship in the manner you have selected.
The customer service team will therefore fulfill your order and ship it by the best means possible.
Returns will be accepted by Mariebelles Sweets only upon its prior written agreement and in no case more than 48 hours after delivery to a recipient. NO return of perishables will be accepted for a refund.
Where Mariebelles Sweets accepts a return in the case of an obvious flaw or the nonconformity of the products delivered with an order, Mariebelles Sweets will allow the free replacement of the product or the return of the amount paid by the purchaser with a proper proof of the damage in the form of a picture on arrival. In making a purchase, the purchaser, on behalf of itself and any recipient of the purchase, waives any additional claims it may have, including for interest and other payments.
Track Your Order Here with your FedEx tracking number(s). Orders shipping Ground leave our Brooklyn facility
within 48 hours of processing. Orders shipping 2nd Day Air and Overnight Air are shipped within 24 hours of processing.
Ground orders may be delivered anywhere from 1 to 8 business days after you place your order, depending on delivery location.
Remember FedEx only delivers on business days, so for expedited delivery see shipping chart below.
Delivery dates cannot be guaranteed with Ground shipping.
